Established by the late HH Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Sheikh Zayed’s second eldest son, this world class venue is located just outside the city of Abu Dhabi.
Boudheib Academy is home to prestigious equestrian competitions such as the HH Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Equestrian Festival which hosts a range of performance classes over three weeks, including Halter (Beauty) Classes, Jumping, Dressage, Tent Pegging and Endurance at the Boudhieb International Equestrian Village.
HH Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed was particularly interested in breeding purebred Arabian horses from his Wrsan stables and protected rarer bloodlines.
The venue has championed the well being of horses by creating welfare dominated endurance competitions with emphasis on best conditioned horse awards. Boudheib also provides daily equitation and stable management teaching students of all levels.
ASHC has hosted its competitions at Boudheib since 2016 and looks forward to returning for 2023.
